Aligra Personnel Ltd is recruiting an experienced Class 1 Driver for Magor to join a well-organised transport operation offering regular work and competitive pay. This role suits drivers seeking consistency, clear instructions, and a professional environment.

You will operate a Class 1 vehicle in line with road and working time rules, complete trunking and general haulage tasks, perform daily checks, and maintain accurate paperwork while staying safe and courteous with depot teams and customers.

Competenze

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Current CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous Class 1 experience preferred.
• Good understanding of drivers' hours and compliance.
• Reliable, professional and safety-focused attitude.

Mansioni

• Safely operating a Class 1 vehicle in line with road traffic laws and working time regulations.
• Carrying out trunking, trunk runs or general haulage deliveries as required by the client.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects promptly.
• Ensuring all paperwork, collections and deliveries are completed accurately.

Your duties will include

• Safely operating a Class 1 vehicle in line with road traffic laws and working time regulations
• Completing trunking, trunk runs or general haulage deliveries as required by the client
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects promptly
• Ensuring all paperwork, collections and deliveries are completed accurately
• Maintaining a professional and courteous attitude with depot teams and customers
• Adhering to all site procedures, load security requirements and health & safety standards
• Communicating effectively with transport planners and site staff throughout your shift

Requirements
