Job summary

The Talent Edit Group is seeking staff to work at one of the country’s most recognisable heritage settings. You will be at St Paul’s Cathedral, delivering a warm welcome and guiding visitors through galleries, while staying aware of crowd flow and safety procedures.

Role requires stamina, comfort with heights and stairs, and comfort working outdoors. Weekend availability and attendance at induction weeks are essential, with flexitime and member discounts offered.

Qualifications

• Physical stamina and comfort with stairs, heights and outdoor work.
• Previous heritage or customer service experience is a plus.
• Flexibility across weekends and holidays is essential.
• Attend one induction week before starting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a confident, informed welcome to every visitor.
• Keep watch over galleries, approaches and entrances with security awareness.
• Support evacuation procedures and respond to emergencies.
• Reunite lost children calmly and in line with procedure.
• Manage crowds and queues, keeping visitors informed.
• Collect visitor feedback to help improve the experience.
• Climb significant stairs repeatedly across a shift.
• Work outdoors for full shifts in all conditions.
