Job summary

BioMarin is seeking an HEOR Associate Director to lead payer evidence strategies and patient-relevant outcomes research across assets, aligning with HTA and access needs. You will collaborate with Value & Access, Commercial, Medical Affairs, and Regulatory teams, ensuring outcomes data informs strategic decisions and access pathways.

The role involves developing asset-specific outcomes plans, engaging with external HTA agencies, and shaping communications for evidence packages and publications

Qualifications

7+ years in pharma with 4+ years in HEOR roles
2+ years directly researching patient-relevant outcomes
Strong understanding of market access, HTA frameworks
Experience supporting PRO measures and HTA submissions
Ability to collaborate across Value & Access, Commercial, Medical Affairs

Responsibilities

Lead payer evidence strategies aligned with brand priorities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
Contribute to patient-relevant outcomes requirements across clinical programs
Ensure payer evidence is incorporated into development plans
Develop asset-level outcomes strategies and PRO endpoints
Support scientific interactions with HTA bodies and regulators
Lead analysis of patient-relevant outcomes data for HTA and access
Shape strategic scientific communication and publications
