IDEXX in Wetherby is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician on a one-year contract, full-time, to join the Hematology team supporting veterinarians across the UK.
You will perform CBCs and coagulation testing using automated analyzers and microscopes, prepare samples, and read results in accordance with SOPs, contributing to rapid, accurate diagnoses for beloved pets. Training is provided, with strong emphasis on accuracy and teamwork.
As a Medical Laboratory Technician at IDEXX, you will be a key contributor at one of the largest veterinary diagnostic companies in the world, performing laboratory testing that helps veterinarians diagnose and treat pets across the UK. This is a one-year contract, full-time, with competitive benefits.
The IDEXX Hematology team in Wetherby is dynamic, forward-thinking, and closely connected to the wider European IDEXX network. We process high-volume blood specimens for diagnostic evaluation by our Veterinary Pathologists, operating automated, top-of-the-range equipment to meet daily targets. Thanks to you, someone's very beloved pet will get the treatment plan they need.
Monday – Friday, 06:00 – 17:30 (flexible start 6:00–8:00) for one month, then Tuesday – Saturday the following month (same weekday hours, Saturday hours are 07:00–15:30).
