Job summary

GTG Training – Renault Trucks is hiring an experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to move into a Technical Trainer role. You will train apprentices and delegates at GTG’s training centre, delivering practical and classroom-based sessions, and assess learner progress.

A driving licence and Level 3 HV Maintenance & Repair are required, with full training provided to gain teaching qualifications. This role offers a clear progression path within a long-established UK network, with Monday–Friday hours

Qualifications

• No teaching experience required – GTG Training will provide full training to gain a teaching qualification.
• Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification (or equivalent) is required.
• Strong heavy vehicle maintenance experience is essential.
• Electrical diagnostics and modern vehicle technology knowledge is required.
• Strong communication skills and enthusiasm are essential.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Training apprentices and commercial delegates towards industry-recognised qualifications at GTG’s training centre.
• Delivering practical and classroom-based training.

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 and bonus opportunities

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am – 4.30pm, no weekend work required
