Job summary

GTG Training - Renault Trucks is seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to become a Technical Trainer. This is an excellent opportunity to move from the workshop into a rewarding training role, helping develop the next generation of technicians.

Salary £35,000-£40,000 with bonus opportunities and 33 days' holiday, private healthcare, life assurance, and ongoing training with clear progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• No teaching experience required - full training and support to gain a teaching qualification.
• Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification (or equivalent).
• Strong heavy vehicle maintenance experience.
• Electrical diagnostics and modern vehicle technology knowledge.
• Strong communication skills and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

• Training apprentices and commercial delegates towards industry-recognised qualifications at GTG's training centre.
• Delivering practical and classroom-based training.
• Assessing learner progress.
• Maintaining training records.
• Supporting apprentices throughout their development.
