Job summary

Navantia Group is expanding its team in Arnish, looking for skilled Riggers to support safe and efficient heavy lifting operations. Responsibilities include rigging operations, inspecting loads, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures.

The ideal candidate should have NVQ Level 3 in Moving Engineering Loads, knowledge of LOLER 98, and the ability to work at heights. The role offers excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to maintaining workplace safety.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and understanding of LOLER 98.
• In-depth knowledge of rigging equipment.
• Ability to work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Attach loads of equipment to structures or cranes through cables, clamps, chains, and shackles.
• Inspect and prepare loads that need to be moved.
• Set, align, and level heavy equipment machinery.
• Select appropriate rigging gear.
• Ensure compliance with state and company safety procedures.
