Navantia UK is seeking a Rigging Supervisor to lead and coordinate all rigging, lifting, vessel mooring and marine operations within the Ship Repair business. You will provide frontline leadership to rigging personnel and subcontractors, ensuring safe, efficient delivery to programme and cost requirements.

The role requires a recognised rigging qualification, extensive experience in lifting operations, and strong planning and people management skills.

Qualifications

• Recognised vocational qualification in Rigging or related discipline.
• Significant experience supervising rigging, lifting and marine operations.
• Strong knowledge of lifting operations, rigging techniques, and legislation.

Responsabilités

• Lead safety culture across all rigging, lifting and marine operations.
• Plan and supervise lifting, rigging, mooring activities to meet programme requirements.
• Develop daily work schedules and allocate resources to optimise delivery.
• Monitor quality and ensure compliance with engineering specs and customer requirements.
