Job summary

NEOS Engineering is hiring a Heavy Plant Fitter in Sittingbourne, Kent to service, maintain and repair a range of construction plant equipment for a leading OEM. You will diagnose faults across mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems and ensure work meets manufacturer standards.

The role offers manufacturer training, ongoing technical development, clear progression, a company pension and a supportive team. Previous experience in plant maintenance and a valid UK driving licence are desirable.

Qualifications

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing heavy construction plant equipment.
• Diagnose faults across mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Work to manufacturer standards and maintain high health and safety standards.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair heavy construction plant equipment.
• Diagnose and fault-find mechanical, hydraulic and electrical issues.
• Carry out routine servicing, inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Complete major component replacements and machine repairs.
• Accurately complete job cards and service documentation.
• Work closely with parts and service teams to ensure efficient turnaround times.
• Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer standards.
• Maintain high health and safety standards at all times.
