NEOS Engineering Recruitment is seeking a skilled Plant Fitter in Luton to join a leading construction equipment specialist. You will service, maintain and repair cranes, piling rigs and heavy plant machinery in a busy workshop.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and hydraulic fault-finding abilities, with electrical knowledge being a plus. Prior experience on heavy plant is valued, and apprenticeships are beneficial. An exciting opportunity to work with diverse equipment awaits.

Formación

• Experience as Workshop Engineer or Plant Fitter with heavy equipment.
• Experience on Heavy Plant equipment (excavators, cranes, piling rigs, telehandlers).
• Strong mechanical and hydraulic fault-finding skills.
• Electrical knowledge is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on cranes, piling rigs and heavy plant machinery.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and routine inspections.
• Work on a range of specialist construction equipment within a workshop environment.
• Identify faults and ensure machinery is maintained to a high standard.
• Collaborate with an experienced engineering team.
