Job summary

NEOS Recruitment is seeking a Heavy Plant Fitter for a Birmingham-based role, working with a leading OEM. The position involves service, maintenance and repair of ADTs and heavy plant machinery, with opportunities to develop expertise on high‑end equipment.

Ideal candidates will have heavy plant/agricultural backgrounds, NVQ 2/3 in Plant Maintenance, and a valid UK driving licence. Overtime is available and training is provided by the manufacturer.

Qualifications

• Experience with heavy plant machinery such as ADTs, JCB, CAT or similar.
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Willing to develop skills with manufacturer training.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance and repair of ADTs and heavy plant machinery.
• Mechanical and electrical fault finding and diagnostics.
• Working on diesel engines, hydraulic systems and associated components.
• Inspecting and preparing machinery for use.
• Working alongside the engineering team to maintain high standards.
• Manufacturer training provided on ADTs and related equipment.
