Job summary

Global Ardour Recycling is looking for Heavy Industry Cleaners to join our Hitchin site. This role supports a growing recycling business during a period of change.

You will carry out site housekeeping, keep machinery free of debris, assist with maintenance and daily equipment checks, with training provided for plant operations.

Responsibilities

• Housekeeping throughout the site
• Ensuring machinery and equipment is free of scrap metal and other debris.
• Supporting maintenance with machinery, spotting faults and supporting with any ad-hoc tasks
• Undertake regular daily checks on forklift truck, bobcat and other plant equipment before use.
• Carry out other housekeeping tasks around the plant as directed.
• Completing paperwork as required
• Manual work with heavy lifting
• Any additional ad-hoc duties

The Role:

We are looking to recruit Heavy Industry Cleaners to join our established team based at our site in Hitchin. This is an exciting opportunity to join us in a period of significant change and be part of the next chapter in this well-established Recycling Business.

What you will be doing:
