Job summary

Manpower UK is seeking an experienced Heating Engineer to join a busy maintenance team in the Derry, Limavady & Strabane areas. You will service, fault-find, repair and inspect domestic gas and oil heating systems in social housing and private properties, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities include annual gas and oil safety inspections, paperwork, and delivering excellent customer service while working in occupied properties.

Qualifications

• Gas Safe registration with experience servicing domestic gas heating systems.
• Recognised plumbing qualification or time-served apprenticeship.
• Proven experience diagnosing and repairing domestic central heating systems and boilers.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rota.

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and breakdown repairs on domestic gas and oil heating systems.
• Complete annual gas and oil safety inspections and servicing within residential properties.
• Diagnose and repair faults on central heating systems and boilers.
• Conduct gas safety checks and ensure all work complies with industry standards.
• Service and maintain oil-fired heating appliances.
• Accurately complete all relevant paperwork and documentation.
• Deliver excellent customer service while working within occupied properties.
• Support operational requirements across other locations when required.
