Overview

Nature of Work - Purely Scheduled/Planned Service and Maintenance in a concentrated local region - max 30 mins travel time.

Responsibilities

This is a brand-new Heating Service Engineer position, working directly for one of the largest leading Heating Manufacturers in the UK, created due to growth. As the Heating Service Engineer you will be responsible for maintaining boilers and an increasing number of air source heat pumps on residential housing projects, including:

• New build housing developments through housebuilders
• Social housing schemes, new build or retrofit
• Local authorities and housing associations

Experience Required

Due to the nature of the role you must have extensive experience in plumbing and heating either install or service of domestic or commercial unvented hot water systems incorporating boilers AND/OR heat pumps - either Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHPs) or Ground Source Heat Pumps (GSHPs) or other renewable technologies such as solar PV, heat recovery, and underfloor heating. Furthermore, recognised industry training and further education qualifications such as City & Guilds plumbing and heating, BPEC, unvented hot water systems, F-gas, boiler training, heat pumps and electrical training are an advantage. If you have no ASHP experience but are a highly experienced boiler service technician then please still apply.
