Sustain Heating & Renewables is recruiting experienced heating engineers to work across the South West from Clevedon. You will install air source heat pumps, heating systems, air conditioning, and underfloor heating on a range of new-build and retrofit projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience installing air source heat pumps.
• Minimum five years' heating engineering experience.
• NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing & Heating (Level 3 preferred).
• G3 Unvented Hot Water qualification.
• WRAS Water Regulations qualification.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Install air source heat pumps and related heating systems on new-build and retrofit projects.
• Install air conditioning systems.
• Install underfloor heating systems, including pipework and manifolds.
• Deliver high workmanship, safety and customer care.
• Collaborate with installation team and complete installation documentation.
• Support apprentices and less experienced team members.

We're looking for experienced Heating Engineers to join our friendly, family-run team at Sustain Heating & Renewables.

With a strong pipeline of projects across the South West, we're looking for skilled, reliable engineers with proven air source heat pump installation experience who take pride in their workmanship and delivering high-quality results.

The Role

Working across a variety of new-build and retrofit projects, you'll be involved in:

• Installing air source heat pumps and associated heating systems
• Installing air conditioning systems
• Installing underfloor heating systems, including pipework and manifolds
• Delivering high standards of workmanship, safety and customer care
• Working collaboratively with our installation team
• Completing relevant installation documentation and records
• Supporting apprentices and less experienced team members where appropriate

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• Proven experience installing air source heat pumps
• Minimum five years' heating engineering experience
• NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing & Heating (Level 3 preferred)
• G3 Unvented Hot Water qualification
• WRAS Water Regulations qualification
• Full UK driving licence
• A reliable, professional approach and commitment to quality workmanship

Desirable:

• Experience installing air conditioning and underfloor heating systems
• BPEC Level 3 Air Source Heat Pump qualification
• F-Gas certification
• Electrical qualifications or Gas Safe registration

Location

We're based in Clevedon, North Somerset, with projects across the South West, including North Somerset, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire. You don't need to live in Clevedon, but you'll need to be able to travel to our yard regularly for materials, meetings and other operational requirements.
