Precision People is seeking an experienced Domestic Heating Engineer specialising in oil boilers and heat pumps. This home-based field role covers the South East, with a patch allocated by location.

You will diagnose faults, service heating systems, and perform warranty repairs across a range of domestic products. You will receive specialist product training, a company van, private healthcare, and an excellent pension.

Qualifications

• Previous experience servicing and repairing domestic heating systems.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

Domestic Heating Engineer (Oil Boilers & Heat Pumps)

£43,000 Basic + Overtime

Are you an experienced Domestic Heating Engineer with experience working on oil boilers, heat pumps or domestic heating systems?

Would you like to work directly for a leading heating manufacturer, receive specialist product training and enjoy a role where you'll be supported to develop your skills across the latest renewable and traditional heating technologies?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing field service team, providing servicing, fault-finding and warranty support across a range of domestic heating products throughout the South East of England.

Suitable locations include Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Peterborough and Essex, with a tailored geographical patch allocated based on where you're located.

The Role

This is a home-based, field service position covering a designated postcode area. You'll attend approximately 2-3 customer visits per day, diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs and servicing domestic heating products while delivering excellent customer service.

Your duties will include:

• Servicing and repairing domestic heating systems
• Diagnosing and resolving faults on oil boilers, heating controls, hot water cylinders and air source heat pumps
• Carrying out warranty repairs and planned maintenance
• Commissioning products where required
• Providing technical advice to homeowners, installers and engineers
• Managing your daily schedule alongside a dedicated customer service team
• Completing service reports and associated paperwork
• Ensuring company tools and equipment are maintained correctly
• Identifying recurring technical issues and reporting trends
• Attending ongoing manufacturer product training
• Following your initial training period, you'll work approximately 20 Saturdays per year, either paid as overtime or taken back as time off in lieu.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience servicing and repairing domestic heating systems
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Experience working on oil-fired boilers
• Experience working within customers' homes
