Job summary

Bennett And Game Recruitment is seeking a Domestic Heating Engineer (OFTEC-Qualified) to join a leading heating manufacturer. You will travel across Hertfordshire and surrounding areas, performing servicing and maintenance on oil-fired boilers, air source heat pumps, and hybrid systems.

Role involves on-site diagnostics, fault-finding and repairs, with customer guidance and completion of boiler certification requirements.

Qualifications

• OFTEC-qualified and experienced with installations, servicing and maintenance on oil-fired boilers in domestic properties.
• Experience with heat pumps and related technologies is highly desirable.
• F-Gas qualification would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Travel to sites across Hertfordshire and surroundings to service and maintain oil-fired boilers, air source heat pumps and hybrid systems.
• Respond to reactive boiler and heat pump breakdowns with on-site diagnostics, fault-finding and repairs.
• Provide on-site technical support and recommendations to customers on heating systems and additional products.
• Complete administration and boiler certification requirements.

Domestic Heating Engineer (OFTEC-Qualified)

Location: Hertfordshire & surrounding areas

We currently have an opportunity available to join a leading heating manufacturer as part of their 100+ strong UK operations that turn over £75m+ each year, and offer products to customers across oil-fired boilers, heat pumps and hybrid heating systems.

Job Overview

• Travelling to sites across Hertfordshire and the surrounding areas to complete 2 - 3 routine servicing and maintenance jobs a day on oil-fired boilers, air source heat pumps and hybrid heating systems
• Responding to reactive boiler and heat pump breakdowns and completing on-site diagnostics, fault-finding and repairs
• Providing technical support to customers on site including how to best use their heating systems and making recommendations for additional products to purchase where necessary
• Completing all necessary administration and boiler certification requirements

Job Requirements

• Must be OFTEC-qualified and experienced completing installations, servicing and maintenance on oil-fired boilers within domestic properties
• Experience and qualifications across heat pumps is highly desirable
• Qualifications such as F-Gas would also be highly desirable
• Based within Hertfordshire or the surrounding areas and happy to travel
• Hold a full UK driving licence
