Job summary

Places Leisure is recruiting a Healthy Communities Instructor to deliver engaging health and wellbeing sessions for local communities. You’ll monitor participant progress, complete required reporting, and support individuals who may fall outside standard programme parameters.

A strong safeguarding culture and data protection compliance are essential. Applicants should hold an instructor qualification and experience in community health or wellbeing contexts, with good MS Office skills and

Qualifications

• Must hold an instructor qualification to independently deliver health, wellbeing or physical activity sessions.
• Experience planning, delivering and monitoring structured sessions or programmes.
• Experience supporting participants in a community, health, leisure or wellbeing environment.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office applications and digital systems.
• Experience completing monitoring, evaluation or programme reporting activities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging health and wellbeing sessions for community participants.
• Monitor participant progress and complete evaluation/reporting in line with data protection standards.
• Work with the manager to support individuals outside programme parameters and promote safeguarding.
• Contribute to a positive participant experience and uphold health and safety standards.
