Job summary

Places Leisure is seeking a Healthy Communities Instructor to deliver engaging health and wellbeing sessions and support community participants in a local setting. You will lead specific community programmes in line with qualifications, ensuring participants feel welcome, supported and encouraged throughout their journey.

You'll monitor progress, complete evaluations and reporting, and collaborate with your manager to assist individuals whose needs fall outside programme parameters.

Qualifications

• Relevant instructor qualification to independently deliver health, wellbeing or physical activity sessions.
• Experience planning, delivering and monitoring structured sessions or programmes.
• Experience supporting participants in a community, health, leisure or wellbeing environment.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office applications and digital systems.
• Experience completing monitoring, evaluation or programme reporting activities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver health and wellbeing sessions that are engaging, dynamic and impactfull for participants.
• Monitor participant progress and complete evaluation and reporting requirements per data protection standards.
