Job summary

Places for People Group is seeking a role focused on developing Healthy Communities projects to reduce health inequalities and improve community wellbeing. You will plan, deliver and monitor gym-based and community sessions, working with modern data protection practices and established guidelines.

The position offers flexible working arrangements, a supportive team, and pathways for ongoing learning and development within Places Leisure and the wider group.

Qualifications

• Qualified instructor in relevant discipline to deliver sessions independently.
• Experience in planning, delivering and monitoring sessions.
• Passion for improving community health.
• Ability to use MS tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage sustainable Healthy Communities projects delivering measurable impact for a local contract area.
• Complete monitoring and evaluation as requested by line manager in line with data protection.
• Deliver Healthy Community programmes such as Exercise Referral, gym classes, or falls prevention as discussed.

More about your role

• Set up and manage a range of sustainable Healthy Communities projects/programmes that deliver measurable impact for the community for a local contract area. With a focus on tackling health inequalities.
• Complete any monitoring and evaluation requested by line manager in line with current data protection protocols
• In line with relevant training / qualifications held, deliver specific Healthy community project/ programme, e.g. Exercise Referral, gym-based classes, falls prevention, according to the parameter discussed with line manager.
