Job summary

EMED Group is seeking a Controller/Planner to join our Reading team. You will plan and control a high-volume, time-critical transport operation, scheduling patient journeys to meet KPI targets and ensure on-time arrivals.

This full-time hybrid role requires strong organisation and analytical skills with experience in logistics and route planning to optimise resources and drive service quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in regulated, time-critical operational environments.
• Desirable logistics, control, route planning and analytics experience.
• Ability to meet KPIs and work under time constraints.

Responsibilities

• Check and plan daily and future bookings within the Cleric controlling system, ensuring resourcing is correct and all sub-contractor, taxi and volunteers are informed where applicable.
• Dispatch and manage operational crews to ensure timely collection and delivery of patients and achieve contractual targets including on-time arrivals.
• Receive requests and queries regarding patient transport, ensuring compliance with procedures and standing orders.
• Maintain accurate patient records and perform general clerical duties.
