Role Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Emergency Department (ED) for a band 2 Support Worker. We are averaging nearly [number] patients per year, approx. [number] patients per day. We see all specialties including Paediatrics, Plastics, Orthopaedics, Medical and Surgical. We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated and committed Support Workers to assist in all areas of the department. ED has recently undergone a large redesign and there is now an exciting opportunity to form part of a new team and contribute towards an even better way of working.
You will be part of a well-established team, with a commitment to providing excellence in Emergency care. We work alongside a multi-disciplinary team, in a Trust which aims to make all its services exemplary in both clinical and operational aspects.
This post has been identified as involving access to vulnerable adults and/or children and in line with Trust policy, successful applicants will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure Check.

This is a non-clinical role to assist the clinical teams in re-stocking essential equipment, moving patients to investigations and onto their assessment wards. Managing stock levels of some equipment. Managing the flow of linen throughout the department as well as ensuring general order within the department.
