We have an exciting opportunity for Support Workers/Healthcare Assistants to join our caring team at our Hothfield Brain Injury Rehabilitation and Neurological Care Centre in Kent. We care for adults with brain injuries or neurological conditions.

Located within the 12-acre grounds of a manor house, we specialise in intensive rehabilitation for individuals in the early stages of recovery from brain injuries, extending to residential care.

What You'll Be Working

FULL TIME, 36 hours per week

Shifts are from 7am to 7:30pm and 7pm to 7:30am.

What You'll Be Doing

• Build open and two-way relationships with patients
• Support patients in their rehabilitation programs
• Establish effective communication methods, reducing barriers as needed
• Assist with mealtimes when necessary
• Support with activities of daily living and personal care
• Report any issues to the clinical team
• Accurately document work activities
• Ensure safety and uphold patients' human rights

What You'll Have

• A genuine interest in providing person-centred care for our young people
• Experience in the care sector or mental health is advantageous but not essential
• Successful candidates will need to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
