Job summary

Welbeck Cambridge is seeking a hands-on Supplies Associate to ensure clinical teams have the stock they need to deliver high-quality patient care. You will receive deliveries, check items and maintain stock levels across departments in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Working with the Supplies Manager, you'll rotate stock using FIFO/FEFO, perform expiry checks, support audits and keep stores clean and compliant.

Qualifications

• Experience in stock control, stores, logistics or supplies environment.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable using IT systems and software for inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, checking and processing deliveries of clinical consumables, equipment and general supplies.
• Replenishing stock across the centre and maintaining stock levels.
• Carrying out stock rotation using FIFO and FEFO to reduce waste and maintain compliance.
• Regular expiry date checks and removing or reporting expired/damaged stock.
• Supporting inventory management, stock takes and audits.
• Maintaining clean, organised stock rooms and storage areas.
• Collaborating with clinical teams, suppliers and internal departments to meet stock requirements.
• Assisting with equipment tracking, recalls and continuous improvement initiatives in Supplies Department.
