Position: Professional Discipline & Healthcare Regulatory – Associate or Senior Associate
Location: Flexible - Manchester, London, Primarily WFH
Our Professional Discipline & Healthcare Regulatory offering has grown significantly over the past three years and we are now recruiting for another Associate or Senior Associate with a strong background in this specialist area of law.This is an exciting opportunity to work with a highly successful and well-regarded team doing fascinating and rewarding work.
The team acts for a wide range of clients including insurers, Royal Colleges, medical and dental defence organisations, private healthcare providers and individual regulated professionals.
The Associate/Senior Associate will enjoy a variety of work, to include fitness to practise (defending professionals before their regulators -GMC, HCPC, GPhC, TRA, RCVS and others), MHPS proceedings, Inquests, CQC, Judicial Review and medico-legal advisory work.
Candidates will need to have strong experience in relation to professional discipline and/or defendant clinical negligence and/or healthcare advisory work, coupled with technical excellence, meticulous attention to detail, enthusiasm, strong communication skills, a flexible approach and commitment to outstanding client service.The ability to function autonomously and with initiative is also hugely important.
This role presents a great opportunity for development and progression working with subject matter experts in a happy team.
