Job summary

Mitie is seeking an experienced Healthcare Project Manager to lead end-to-end lifecycle and variation projects within a hospital environment in Liverpool. The role requires strong pre-construction capabilities and a solid understanding of regulatory frameworks to ensure high-quality facilities management delivery.

You will develop and manage pre-construction plans, coordinate asset surveys and stakeholders, and maintain rigorous financial and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering Lifecycle and Variation projects in Healthcare environments.
• Full MEP project delivery experience.
• Strong knowledge of CDM 2015, HTM, HBN, RIBA stages and Building Safety Act (BSA).
• Contractual awareness within PFI is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to manage stakeholders and resolve conflicts.
• Collaborative and forward-thinking with adaptability in project delivery.
• Demonstrate pre-construction PM skills via recruitment screen and written statement.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of lifecycle and variation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and fully compliant with HTM, HBN, CDM, and BSA 2022 requirements.
• Develop and manage comprehensive pre-construction project plans across design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and training phases.
• Coordinate asset surveys, contractor activities, and stakeholder engagement to ensure seamless FM service delivery.
• Provide robust financial management and reporting, including budget tracking, reconciliations, and management information to support decision-making.
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and environmental compliance, supporting ISO 14001 initiatives and ensuring accurate documentation, including O&M manuals.
