Job summary

Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Operations Support Manager to lead operational delivery within Acute Medicine and the Medicine Rota team in Exeter. The role includes rostering around 150 doctors, managing GIM on call and POD rotas, and deputising for the Operations Manager.

Working pattern is Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours per week. The position is a fixed-term contract from 15/03/2027 to 14/03/2028, with NHS pension, staff discounts, and developmental

Qualifications

• Experience in NHS administration and service delivery.
• Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and rostering.
• Strong stakehold er engagement with clinicians, commissioners and partner organisations.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective day-to-day operational management of your specified service(s).
• Lead and support service plans, projects, and change initiatives.
• Manage business activities in line with Trust policies and allocated resources.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation in service delivery.
