Job summary

Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust (LSCFT) Preston site is seeking a motivated Mandatory Skills Trainer to deliver and evaluate core training programmes, ensuring our workforce remains compliant with national healthcare safety standards.

You will work with the Mandatory Training Team Preston, providing training in Moving & Handling, Resuscitation and other essential courses, while embedding the Trust's Mandatory Training Policy and supporting continuous professional development.

Qualifications

• Recognised Teaching Qualification.
• Competent knowledge of Resuscitation Council (UK) guidelines (adult).
• Knowledge of moving & handling techniques and training delivery including hoists and slings.
• Awareness of the UK Core Skills Training Framework.

Responsibilities

• To provide a range of Mandatory Training subjects to ensure patient, client and staff safety to meet Healthcare and Risk management standards.
• To support the embedding of the Mandatory Training Policy.
• To work with Mandatory Training team to provide agreed programme of activity.
• To support subject Matter experts in development, delivery and evaluation of Mandatory Training.
• To provide training in Moving & Handling, Resuscitation, Physical Health and mandated training to ensure safety.
