Job summary

Bristol NHS Foundation Trust seeks a Senior Administrator & National Course Coordinator to join its Learning and Workforce Development team. The role supports the Resuscitation Services department, delivering clinical education and expertise to nurses, midwives, allied health professionals and medics to ensure safe patient care.

As part of a trust-wide service, you will coordinate national training solutions, manage bookings and LMS, and contribute to continuous improvement across multiple sites

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Business Administration or equivalent.
• Evidence of ongoing personal development.

Responsibilities

• Displays excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
• Clearly and confidently speaks publicly to groups of learners and staff.
• Communicates complex information with empathy to colleagues and learners.
• Demonstrate self-motivation and excellent time management, prioritising workload, meeting deadlines, and maintaining close attention to detail.
• Plan, organise, and adapt educational activities and programmes to meet learner and stakeholder needs, ensuring flexibility and responsiveness.
• Utilise digital tools and learning systems to efficiently manage schedules, assessments, reports, and communication.
• Coordinate nationally accredited Life Support Courses and Trust training programmes.
• Provide support for facilitators and delegates of courses including bookings and room management, enrol candidates on LMS.
• Advertise and promote training opportunities across the Trust.
• Manage administrative processes and continuous improvement, such as monitoring shared inboxes and attending meetings.
