Job summary

LF&E Temperature Controlled Logistics is seeking a Depot Supervisor to lead a team of drivers and oversee daily depot operations, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient service. You will manage dispatch, route planning, rotas, and staff development while upholding GDP/MHRA standards and company SOPs.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in a supervisory role, strong H&S knowledge, excellent communication, and a full UK driving licence with up to 6 points.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in a supervisory or transport management role.
• Experience managing drivers and fleet logistics.
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety (GDP/MHRA knowledge advantageous).
• Excellent communication, organisational, and decision‑making skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Strong geographical knowledge.
• Full UK manual Driving Licence with no more than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Leading and supporting a team of delivery drivers.
• Overseeing daily dispatch, route planning, and depot operations.
• Ensuring compliance with GDP, MHRA standards, and company SOPs.
• Managing rotas, holidays, absence, and staff development.
• Collaborating with senior management to meet KPIs and service targets.
• Conducting vehicle checks and maintaining depot safety and cleanliness.
• Leading on recruitment, inductions, and new-starter training.
• Providing driving cover when required.
