Job summary

LF&E Temperature Controlled Logistics invites applications for a Depot Supervisor role in Wilton, UK. You will lead a team of drivers, manage depot operations, ensure GDP/MHRA compliance and uphold service standards critical to patient care.

You will recruit, train, and develop staff, coordinate route planning, and drive continuous improvement across shifts. A full UK driving licence and robust leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in a supervisory or transport management role.
• Experience managing drivers and fleet logistics.
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety practices; GDP/MHRA knowledge is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of delivery drivers.
• Oversee daily dispatch, route planning, and depot operations.
• Ensure compliance with GDP, MHRA standards and SOPs.
• Manage rotas, holidays, absence, and staff development.
• Collaborate with senior management to meet KPIs and targets.
• Conduct vehicle checks and maintain depot safety and cleanliness.
• Lead recruitment, inductions and new-starter training.
• Provide driving cover when required.

About The Role

As a Depot Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our operation runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely. Leading a team of drivers and supporting day-to-day depot activities, you’ll help maintain the high standards our customers rely on while ensuring life-changing medications reach patients accurately and on time. Key Responsibilities

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years’ experience in a supervisory or transport management role
• Experience managing drivers and fleet logistics
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety (GDP/MHRA knowledge advantageous)
• Excellent communication, organisational, and decision‑making skills
• Ability to work well under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Strong geographical knowledge
• Full UK manual Driving Licence with no more than 6 points

Working Hours

• 45 hours per week (5-6 days), Monday to Friday
• Shift times are 06:00 am - 15:00 pm with reasonable overtime expected
