Job summary

Focus Resourcing is seeking a part-time Stock Controller for Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle. You will manage stock levels, receive, store and rotate stock, and liaise with procurement to ensure supplies for clinical teams.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years' warehousing experience, strong stock control, good Excel skills and excellent organisation. NHS experience and a full UK driving licence are desirable; Enhanced DBS will be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' warehousing/inventory management experience.
• Strong stock control experience.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and administration skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage stock levels, inventory and ordering of consumables.
• Receive, check, store and rotate stock.
• Carry out regular stock checks and reconciliations.
• Manage stock transfers, recalls, expired products and discrepancies.
• Liaise with suppliers, procurement and finance teams.
• Provide stock support to clinical teams.
