Job summary

Equans Group in London is hiring a Maintenance Craftsperson to maintain and repair mechanical systems including HVAC, boilers and plumbing in healthcare facilities. You will perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), fault repairs and responsible for AP and CP duties, with involvement in a monthly on-call rota and ongoing training.

The role requires experience in mechanical maintenance within healthcare or critical infrastructure, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical maintenance within healthcare or critical infrastructure.
• Skilled in HVAC, boilers, plumbing, and mechanical fault finding.
• AP and CP duties and Health & Safety practices.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills; able to work independently or in teams.
• Mechanical qualifications and healthcare experience desirable.
• Physically able to work in demanding environments including confined spaces and heights.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine PPM and emergency repairs on mechanical systems.
• Diagnose and clear blockages in plumbing and drainage.
• Perform AP and CP duties to ensure system safety and compliance.
• Take part in a 1-week per month on-call rota.
• Maintain Health & Safety compliance and complete risk assessments.
• Collaborate with teams and provide technical support as needed.
