Job summary

HCRG Care Group is seeking a Data Migration Lead to oversee end-to-end data migration projects within the Clinical Systems team. You will coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure safe, accurate transfer of patient data across EPR systems, with a strong focus on governance and patient safety.

The role is predominantly remote with occasional UK travel, and offers a salary up to £50,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of project management experience, ideally in healthcare, technology or large-scale data migration projects.
• Technical qualification or 2+ years of experience in data management, SQL Server or similar.
• Proven experience managing complex projects involving data movement across systems.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and delivery approaches.
• Knowledge of healthcare datasets, SNOMED CT and data structures.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end data migration projects with detailed plans, timelines and deliverables.
• Coordinate data extraction, transformation, testing and migration activities.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy and integrity across EPR systems.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal teams, external organisations and EPR suppliers.
• Identify, manage and escalate project risks, issues and dependencies with RAID logs.
• Work with Information Governance and Clinical Safety to meet regulatory and patient safety requirements.
• Provide regular project updates to programme boards and senior stakeholders.
• Support planning of new healthcare service mobilisations and migration requirements.
