Job summary

Proximie seeks a Data Integration Engineer to lead healthcare data exchange initiatives across the UK and META. You will design HL7 interfaces (ADT, ORU, ORM), stand up HL7 and file-based integrations, and build robust ETL pipelines to transform clinical data for the platform.

You'll collaborate with product, engineering, and customer success, ensure data quality, and document mappings and specs. Strong HL7, ETL, and communication skills are essential in a fast-paced, global team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in healthcare data integration or with EHRs (Epic, Cerner, Meditech).
• Strong HL7 v2.x experience and interface engine knowledge.
• Proficient in Python/SQL for data transformation and validation.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain HL7 interfaces (ADT, ORU, ORM) for real-time and batch data exchange with EHRs.
• Stand up file-based and HL7-based integrations to meet onboarding timelines.
• Develop and manage ETL pipelines transforming clinical data from diverse sources.
• Collaborate with customer IT teams to define requirements and troubleshoot deployment.
• Analyze data quality and ensure complete, accurate data exchange.
• Document workflows, mappings, and specs for internal/external stakeholders.
