Job summary

Proximie is seeking a Data Integration Engineer to lead the integration of our Surgical and Intelligence Suites with customer EHR systems. This pivotal role drives secure, scalable data exchange across the UK and other markets, enabling real-time clinical insights and improved workflows.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in healthcare data integration, strong HL7 v2.x experience, and proficiency in ETL, Python, and SQL.

Qualifications

• HL7 v2.x messaging experience and interface engines (Mirth Connect, Rhapsody, Cloverleaf) is essential.
• Experience with EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, Meditech) and healthcare data standards (FHIR, CDA, CCD).
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data transformation and validation.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain HL7 interfaces (ADT, ORU, ORM) for real-time and batch data exchange with customer EHR systems.
• Stand up file-based and HL7-based integrations to meet onboarding timelines and scalability.
• Develop and manage ETL pipelines for transforming clinical data from diverse sources.
