Job summary

Cygnet Health Care is seeking a Credit Controller for its Head Office Finance team in the Kingshill area. This 12 months' FTC covers maternity leave and focuses on high volume revenue collection for the FT ledger. The role involves debt chasing, handling complex queries, and ensuring timely cash targets are met.

You will work in a healthcare finance team, with a mix of office and home-based days, handling large data sets and providing reconciliation and analysis to support cash flow.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years' experience of credit control is desirable.
• Experience of accounts receivable procedures would be beneficial.
• Working with large data sets, comfortable with manipulating excel spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Chasing debt by email and sometimes phone with accounts to chase.
• Ensuring overdue debt is kept to a minimum with clear status notes and next steps.
• Raising credit requests in line with the credit note policy in a timely manner.
• Identify potential delays or high-risk issues on an account and discuss with Senior or Credit Control Manager.
• Attend weekly 1:1s with the team manager to review debtors and hit monthly cash targets.
• Reconciliation and analysis of large groups of data and building relationships with customers.
• Prioritise workload in a busy environment and support team during key periods.
