Sodexo at Nuffield Health Cambridge Hospital is seeking a Chef to join a patient-focused catering team. You’ll manage your own kitchen section, ensuring high-quality, nutritious meals are prepared per menus and dietary requirements.

In a fast-paced hospital environment, you’ll uphold food safety standards, collaborate with colleagues, and contribute to an exceptional dining experience for patients and staff. Permanent contract, 37.5 hours weekly, 5 days out of 7.

Competenze

• Previous experience as a Chef in a quality-focused catering environment, healthcare experience is desirable.
• Solid understanding of food safety, HACCP, allergens, hygiene and health and safety requirements.
• A passion for producing great-quality food and delivering an excellent patient/customer experience.
• Ability to work efficiently, follow recipes and instructions, and manage tasks.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a positive and flexible approach.
• Good organisation, reliability and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn, develop and complete relevant training.

• Prepare and deliver high-quality, nutritious meals for patients, staff and visitors.
