Band 2/3 Healthcare Assistant required for Danesbury Neurological Centre
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant to join our friendly, supportive multidisciplinary team. You will work alongside trained nursing and therapy staff, assisting in the day-to-day care and management of patients to ensure they receive safe, high-quality nursing care on our Neurological Rehabilitation unit in Welwyn.
We invite individuals to apply for a band 2 CSW role. Support and guidance will be provided to complete a care certificate, with the opportunity to progress to a band 3 CSW role upon successful completion of Hertfordshire Community Trust Band 3 CSW competencies.
Applicants can also apply directly for a band 3 CSW role. Evidence of a care certificate must be provided at interview, and support will be given to complete the necessary competencies.

The post holder will carry out patient care activities under supervision, maintaining privacy and dignity. The role involves working a rotational shift pattern, including long days and night shifts, covering all days of the week, including weekends and bank holidays.
