Job Role: Support worker / Healthcare Assistant

The Support Worker / Healthcare Assistant will be expected to help and assist the team with day-to-day routines including personal care and feeding.

The Healthcare Assistants / Support Workers must have at least 6 months of care experience and demonstrate compassion.

Healthcare Assistants / Support Workers help with the daily care of patients in homes, hospitals, or patients' own homes. They are vital members of teams in hospitals, care homes, and clinics.

As a Healthcare Assistant / Support Worker, you will work under the supervision of nursing staff and alongside other healthcare assistants.

Your duties may include:

4. Turning patients to prevent pressure sores
5. Talking to patients to ease anxiety

Your daily tasks may involve using mobility aids and escorting patients between departments. With experience, you may participate in training new healthcare assistants.
