Job Role: Support Worker/Healthcare Assistant

The Support Worker / Healthcare Assistant will help and assist the team with daily routines including personal care and feeding.

The Healthcare Assistants / Support Workers must have at least 6 months of experience in care and demonstrate compassion.

They will assist with the day-to-day care of patients in various settings such as homes, hospitals, or patients' own homes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Helping patients with washing, showering, or dressing
• Serving food or assisting with eating
• Making and changing beds
• Turning patients to prevent pressure sores
• Talking to patients to reduce anxiety
• Helping patients move around if difficult
• Assisting with toileting and bedpans
• Maintaining cleanliness of wards or homes
• Managing supplies and equipment

Your daily tasks may involve using mobility aids, escorting patients within hospitals, and assisting with induction training for new staff as you gain experience.
