Location: Bath Clinic

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, full-time, permanent

Salary: Up to £25,583.00 per year (dependent on experience, training, and qualifications)

Bath Clinic, part of Circle Health Group—Britain's leading independent healthcare provider—specializes in complex surgeries across a nationwide network of hospitals and clinics. We are seeking a Healthcare Assistant to join our Theatres department. This role involves covering flexible shifts within a full-time schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal hygiene, mobility, and daily needs, respecting their dignity and preferences.
• Support patients with eating, drinking, and nutritional documentation.
• Provide emotional support and create a caring environment.
• Record routine observations such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, oxygen saturation, and blood glucose levels (training provided).
• Support clinical procedures including wound care, catheter care, pressure area prevention, and mobility aids.
• Prepare and maintain clinical areas and equipment.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective patient care.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience in a care or health support role (hospital, care home, community, domiciliary).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate attitude.
• Ability to follow instructions and escalate concerns appropriately.
• Basic literacy, numeracy, and IT skills.
• Physical ability to perform moving and handling duties.
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (preferred).
• Knowledge of safeguarding, infection control, and confidentiality procedures.
