Diagnostic Imaging Assistant

Bath Clinic

18 Hours & Permanent

Salary: Up to £28,267.00 FTE per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

We have an opportunity for a Diagnostic Imaging Assistant to join our team in the Imaging department. This is a part-time role for 18 hours a week, with a flexible shift pattern.

Responsibilities
  • Work as an integral part of the imaging team, providing high-quality, patient-centred care, meeting the needs of patients, consultants, and colleagues.
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to deliver care, maintain, and enhance customer service and satisfaction under the supervision of a Registered Practitioner.
  • Maintain professionalism in line with the HCA/Imaging Assistants standards, adhering to the NMC Codes of Conduct and HCPC standards.
  • Demonstrate competence in the role within your working areas.
  • Support safe and high-quality patient care alongside the multidisciplinary team.
  • Comply with all mandatory training requirements.
Candidate Requirements
  • Previous experience as an Imaging or Healthcare Assistant.
  • Experience in customer care, including handling challenging situations.
  • Care Certificate.
  • NVQ Level 1 or willingness to work towards NVQ Level 2 (Healthcare specific) or equivalent.
  • Willingness to progress towards NVQ Level 3 (Healthcare specific) or equivalent.
  • Maths and English GCSEs at grades A-C or equivalent functional skills level 2.
  • Efficient, adaptable, with good organisational skills.
