Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a Locum Health Care Assistant (HCA) to support a GP practice in Malvern. The role involves assisting with routine clinical duties, patient assessments and managing day-to-day treatment room activities within a structured primary care environment.

You will help manage patient flow, support core clinical duties, and contribute to high-quality care delivery, with sessions offered ad-hoc or regularly. Ongoing locum and permanent opportunities are available across the UK.

Qualifications

• Prior HCA experience in primary care or the NHS.
• Phlebotomy experience desirable.
• Comfortable carrying out clinical observations.
• Good communication and patient interaction skills.
• Basic IT competence for clinical system documentation.
• Enhanced DBS

• Performing observations including BP, pulse, temperature and oxygen saturation
• Supporting with treatment room procedures
