Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to support a GP practice in Halesowen. The role focuses on routine clinical duties, patient assessments, and day-to-day treatment room activity within a structured primary care environment.

The successful candidate will perform observations (BP, pulse, temp, SpO2), assist with treatment room procedures, and update patient records. Prior NHS/primary care HCA experience and DBS clearance are preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior HCA experience in primary care or the NHS
• Phlebotomy experience desirable
• Comfortable carrying out clinical observations
• Good communication and patient interaction skills
• Basic IT competence for clinical system documentation
• Enhanced DBS
