Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a Locum Healthcare Assistant to support a GP practice in Hove. The role focuses on routine clinical duties and patient flow.

Responsibilities include performing observations, phlebotomy (if trained), ECGs and updating patient records, with DBS check required. Ad-hoc or regular weekly sessions are available with morning and afternoon slots to suit arrangements.

Qualifications

• Prior HCA experience in primary care or the NHS.
• Phlebotomy experience desirable.
• Comfortable carrying out clinical observations.
• Good communication and patient interaction skills.
• Basic IT competence for clinical system documentation.
• Enhanced DBS.

You will be part of an organised primary care environment where you will help manage patient flow, assist with core clinical duties and contribute to high-quality care delivery. The practice offers strong support and clear guidance to ensure every session runs smoothly.
