Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a proactive Healthcare Assistant to support a GP practice in Hampton. This on-site locum role helps manage patient flow and assists with day-to-day treatment room activity, ensuring high-quality care delivery.

You will perform observations, assist with ECGs and phlebotomy where trained, and keep patient records up to date. Flexible hours include ad-hoc or regular weekly sessions, with DBS clearance required.

Qualifications

• Prior HCA experience in primary care or NHS.
• Phlebotomy experience desirable.
• Comfortable performing clinical observations.
• Good communication and patient interaction skills.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.

You will be part of an organised primary care environment where you will help manage patient flow, assist with core clinical duties and contribute to high-quality care delivery. The practice offers strong support and clear guidance to ensure every session runs smoothly.
