Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a locum Healthcare Assistant to support a GP practice in Winchester. You will work within an organised primary care setting, assisting with routine clinical duties and patient assessments to help deliver high-quality care.

Key responsibilities include performing observations, assisting with treatment room procedures, phlebotomy (where trained), ECGs, recording patient data, and supporting clinicians as required. This role suits a proactive, patient-focused HCA.

Qualifications

• Prior HCA experience in primary care or the NHS.
• Phlebotomy experience desirable.
• Comfortable carrying out clinical observations.
• Good communication and patient interaction skills.
• Basic IT competence for clinical system documentation.
• Enhanced DBS.
