Job description

Job summary

Cromwell house is a 10 bedded and Keith Winter house is 15 bedded, 24-hour Rehabilitation unit part of the Mental Health inpatient recovery services. We support patients with complex mental health difficulties predominantly psychosis. The service has a Recovery ethos and offers a holistic person-centred approach with a focus on promoting optimal social recovery, instilling hope for the future whilst supporting patients in developing coping strategies, empowering self-management of symptoms and an ability for increased independence. The job role will be split over both sites and will be required to work 3 days at Keith Winter house and 2 days at Cromwell house.

There is a part-time role working 23 hours per week and a full time post available.

This post requires working rotational shifts.

Main duties of the job

Put patient care at the heart of the work you do to improve health care outcomes and service delivery

Work alongside the multi-disciplinary team to deliver interventions both on the ward and in the community

To work with patients on a one to one and group basis to develop independent living skills and provide psychoeducation to support their recovery pathway
