Shrewsbury Hospital | Pre-Assessment | Permanent | Full Time

Salary of £24,043.40 per annum

37.5 hours per week

As a Healthcare Assistant at our Shrewsbury Hospital, you’ll demonstrate your ability to meet deadlines and follow instructions. You should have a good telephone manner, excellent computer and database skills, and be qualified with an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care, with relevant experience in an acute hospital or care setting.

Shrewsbury Hospital, rated 'Good' in the last CQC inspection, is purpose-built and well-equipped with 30 en-suite bedrooms, 3 operating theatres, an endoscopy suite, an Ambulatory Care Unit, and a busy outpatient department including physiotherapy and diagnostic imaging. Our diagnostic services include X-ray, Ultrasound, MRI, and CT. We offer the latest surgical treatments combined with a warm welcome and professional, caring service from our matron-led nursing team. We specialise in orthopaedics, ophthalmology, cosmetic surgery, and women’s health, but also undertake general surgery, urology, and interventions for chronic pain management.
